Lighting Course | Location Flash Lighting
It’s that time of year again when we can take our flash outside and learn to mix it with daylight…
..although we will also do some flash inside learning to expose for outside. Flash can be intimidating so we start the day learning the fundamental theory of how flash work, how focal plane & leaf shutters work and then we put it all together (understanding the theory is essential so that you can easily repeat the images you make).
We start with flashguns learning to use them in TTL and Manual modes, we also learn High Speed Sync and Rear Curtain Sync and then move onto using battery flash packs where we can harness more light-shapers and have greater wattage to over power sunshine (that we will hopefully have). You will also learn to use wireless triggers and multiple flash set-ups. You will leave with the confidence of how to mix flash with daylight to create the type of image you want.
