| Photofusion’s rental darkroom is one of
the largest and best equipped in London. The darkroom (colour and black & white) is air-conditioned and
fitted with top of the range Advena 5x4” enlargers. There are 4 dedicated black and white enlargers and 3 dedicated colour enlargers each housed in it's own booth equipped with a white-light viewing hood. Note: all enlargers print B&W via automatic multigrade filters.
Within the darkroom is a white-light controlled viewing room enabling
users to accurately check their prints without leaving
the darkroom and the darkroom is also equipped with sinks,
trays and two 20x16” archival print washers,
The colour RA-4 paper machine processes
prints up to 20"x24' (dry to dry
in 4 minutes). The black & white paper machine processes prints up to 20"x16" (dry to dry in 2.5 minutes). Similarly, the maximum size for fibre-based tray printing is 20"x16".
All of our enlargers accept negative masks
covering formats from 35mm to 5"x4” (including X-Pan,
6x9cm etc) as well as black border masks
for all formats. Technical assistance for both darkrooms
is available at all times.
Members
are expected to supply their own photographic paper (we do not sell paper),
cans of air, gloves, lupes etc. Anyone wishing to
use their own paper developer must
make this known at the time of booking. |

Photofusion operates a 24 hour cancellation
policy on all its rental facilities.
Any sessions cancelled within this time are payable in full. |

| On Saturdays, members can stay in the darkroom during the lunch break (13:00 - 13:45) if
they have booked two sessions, but there will be no technician
available during this time. |
