| Catherine Williams |
|
| Catherine Williams began her career in exhibitions at Kettle’s Yard and later Portfolio Gallery. Since 1996, she has worked freelance as an arts facilitator and producer, working regularly with artists including Fernando Arias, Blast Theory, Shezad Dawood and Pam Skelton. She was managing editor of Afterall and co-editor of the first series of Diffusion e-books (published by Proboscis). Current projects include producing a site specific touring exhibition with Shezad Dawood and developing a commissioning programme for the Eden Project. She works part time at Photofusion where she organizes an ongoing professional development programme for photographers in the early stages of their careers. |

| Soraya Rodriguez |
|
| Soraya Rodriguez completed a BA at Liverpool University and an MA in Sculpture at the RCA in 1996, followed by a Foundation Diploma in History of Art at Birkbeck. After a year of working at the Royal Academy of Arts in the Publications Department she started working for Max Wigram at what became MW projects. She left the gallery three years later as Director of Exhibitions and co-founded the Zoo Art Fair in 2004 with gallerist David Risley. Soraya is also Director of The Great Unsigned, an agency promoting unsigned artists, which she formed in Sept 2004 with curator David Thorp, and since May 2005 runs with Irene Bradbury who is Artist and Museum Liaison at White Cube. |

| Cherry Smyth |
|
| Cherry Smyth is a critic, curator and poet. She writes regularly for Art Monthly, Circa and Art Review, having written essays on Jane and Louise Wilson, Orla Barry, Salla Tykka and Dirk Braeckman, among others. She was visiting critic at Braziers International Art Workshop, at the Centre for Contemporary Art in Castello, Spain and at the Jan Van Eyck Academie in Maastricht in 2005. In addition Cherry was a curatorial adviser for Axis’ online showcase, Open Frequency in 2006. An essay on photographer Thomas Flechtner was published in ‘Bloom’, Lars Muller Publications, 2007. |

| Lydia Goldblatt |
|
| Lydia Goldblatt is a London-based photographic artist. She completed an MA with Distinction in photography at London College of Communication in 2006. She first exhibited in 2005, with a joint project entitled ‘Club Series’ at Photofusion. She recently held her first solo show at the Tricycle Gallery, London, and this year was awarded a commission under the Pavilion Commissions Programme 2007. She contributes regularly to publications such as the Guardian Weekend, Telegraph and Sunday Times magazines. |

| Anna Reid |
|
| Anna Reid joined Pavilion as Director in July 2006 and has produced its new Commissions Programme and Curated Education Programme. She was previously at The Art House, where she produced commissions and residencies including Incident/Incydenty, collaborating with Agnieszka Swoboda, Brijesh Patel and Samantha Donnelly; Death and Dolls, collaborating with Tabitha Kyoko Moses, Overlooking, collaborating with Amelia Crouch; Sam Clayton and Mark Jacobs at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park; Mike McGabhann at Angel Row Gallery and Alexis Stevens at Artsway. She was awarded an MA in Intellectual Revolution – Postmodernism from the Courtauld Institute of Art and a BA (Hons) in the History of Art from St. John’s College, University of Cambridge, including a year studying Arts Plastiques at the Université d’Aix-Marseilles, France. |

| Gina Glover |
|
| Gina Glover is a photographic artist, lecturer and a co-founder and Director of the Photofusion Photography Centre.
She was winner of the Medical Research Council/Novartis/Daily Telegraph Visions of Science Award in 2003 and 2004 for her pictures ‘Chromosomal Stripy Socks’ (2003) and ‘Portrait of Portraits’. In 2005, she received a Research and Development Award from Arts Council England for her project ‘Site Transition’. Part of this series was exhibited in ‘The Archaeology of Everyday Things’ at Fermynwoods Contemporary Art Gallery, Northamptonshire. Other exhibitions in 2006 include: ‘Dedale: Photographs from the Gresigne Forest’, France and ‘Bottled in Time and Sea Time in Kaunas Photo Days, Lithuania.

| Paul Lowe |
|
| Paul Lowe is an award-winning freelance photographer and educator living and working between Sarajevo and London. His work is represented by Panos Pictures, and has appeared in Time, Newsweek, Life, Der Spiegel, The Observer and The Independent amongst others. He has covered breaking news the world over, including the fall of the Berlin Wall, Nelson Mandela’s release, the Rwandan genocide and the destruction of Grozny. He is currently developing an online educational programme for developing-world photographers in conjunction with the World Press Photo Foundation in Amsterdam. Since 2004, Paul has been the Course leader of the Masters programme in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication.His book, Bosnians, documenting 10 years of the war and post war situation in Bosnia, was published in April 2005. | Jenny Matthews |

| Jenny has spent over 20 years photographing conflict and social issues for British newspapers, magazines and development organisations. Magazine commissions include Marie Claire, Guardian Weekend, The Sunday Times, The Independent Magazine, Night and Day and the Independent on Sunday Review. | Teresa is the Archive Director of Panos Pictures, a leading documentary photo agency representing photojournalists worldwide. Their photographers document issues and geographical areas which are under-reported, misrepresented or ignored. In a media climate dominated by celebrity and lifestyle, Panos aims to provide fresh perspectives on the world. Teresa has worked for the agency since 1994, and has years of editorial experience in the photographic industry. She now combines her work at Panos with neuropsychological research. | Jo Ferly |
|
Jo Ferly has worked in the Picture Research industry for the past fifteen years. She started her career with the Getty Images Paris office as soon as she obtained her MA in Art History and Photography (Distinction). Getty later transferred Jo across to their London offices where she became part of the online picture editor team who set up the original version of the Getty Images website. Jo then became involved with working with the Getty publishing team as a freelance Project Manager before setting up her own business after ten successful years within the Getty Group. Jo's recent clients include: ChevronTexaco, Elizabeth Whiting & Associates, Photofusion, The Hulton Getty Picture Gallery, Middlesex Universiy, The Science Museum, L'Evènement magazine, Romilly Lockyer Studio, The Victoria & Albert Museum, Impact Photos, Pulse Picture Library, De Monfort University, amongst others.
Jo recently set up a fully digital picture desk for Essex County Council to raise the profile of the Strategic Communications Office. She has a wide experience of picture databases and advises Essex County Hall on implementing a corporate visual identity. Her other responsibilities include editing, enhancing and managing picture assets, setting up corporate briefs, commissioning and art directing a team of freelance photographers to enhance the website and related printed publications produced by the award winning authority.
Jo is an adviser and examiner on the 10 week Picture Research course at London School of Publishing where she assists Samantha Johnson with the setting and marking of course projects. |
