Members’ Photo Peer Critique
Thursday 15 May 2014, 19:00
Free & exclusive to Photofusion members
Continuing on with our regular photography presentations and group discussions/critiques, we are pleased to announce a new Members’ peer critique session that will be taking place in May.
If you are interested in presenting a recent photographic body of work, that is either mid-completion and you are seeking guidance/advice on how to proceed with it, or nearly complete and looking for some final constructive feedback before putting it out there, then let us know!
Up to five members will be selected and invited to present a body of work for 10 minutes, before a discussion and Q&A is opened up to the audience. This is a great opportunity to seek feedback from professionals and peers. It is also a good event to attend as a viewer, it is a social evening which encourages exciting discussions and critiques around photography across multiple genres.
How to submit…
If you would like to present your work on 15 May, please send the following material to firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Members Photo Critique Event’ written in the subject title:
• Up to 8 jpegs, 1000 pixels on the longest edge
• A CV
• A short statement about the work
• A short paragraph on why you wish to participate in the review.
Please note that we will select up to 5 photographers who represent different genres of photography. The selected photographers must bring a powerpoint presentation to the event.
This will be a regular event for Photofusion Members, so do not worry if you are not ready for it this time round, as there will be more opportunities in the future.
Deadline for submissions: Sunday 4 May 2014
Notification of selected photographers: Week beginning 5 May
This event is free & exclusive to Photofusion Members
