Metro Imaging and The Photographers’ Dining Club are proud to present an exclusive evening of inspirational conversation, debate and dining, based around issues facing photographers today in an increasingly demanding industry.

Taking place at: The Proud Archivist in Dalston, London, from 6.30 – 10.00pm

Addressing the demands and pressures on art photographers today, three prominent speakers will explore and discuss the new platforms open to photographers today and ways of engaging with a wide and diverse audience for maximum reach.

Metro Imaging’s Director, Steve Macleod, who has a long-standing history in art photography and production, will host the event and deliver a talk.

Invited guest speakers include art documentary photographer Mark Neville, who will talk about his work and projects that aim to ‘question conventional modes of disseminating photographs’. British photographer Simon Roberts will discuss three major projects – We English, The Election Project and Let This Be A Sign – giving insight to how he produced and utilised public collaboration to create the work.

The evening will be the perfect opportunity for photographers to discuss, question and evaluate their working practice within the remit of the changing face of photography and building links within a social audience.
