Oct 7 – The F64 Group – Formed in the San Francisco Bay Area, the 11 members of Group f/64 (sometimes referred to as the West Coast Photographic Movement) pursued of a “pure” (or Straight) image that became Group f/64’s unifying quest. Members included Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Imogen Cunnigham. Reading Photography Online
‘Reading Photography ’ will introduce and examine four classic photographic theory texts. The tutor will guide participants through keys areas of the texts and will raise issues for debate. You don’t need any prior knowledge to participate. You simply need to read the texts.
