We are pleased to present the first UK show of five photographers who have followed a master class with Antoine d’Agata during Les Rencontres d’Arles of Summer 2013. The show focuses on the aftermath of the workshops, which have become legendary for the intense experience they provide.

Michael Grieve wrote in BJP: “Photographers have been known to come out of the other side of an Antoine d’Agata workshop and declare it a life-changing experience” (December 2013 issue).

Antoine D’Agata has given an interview specifically concerning Aftermath, excerpts from which will be presented at the exhibition.

Whether concerned with Loss, Void, Body or Rage, the work concerns the outer limits of photography as a mean for asserting a personal perception of the world.

It is presented here through various different visual formats: photographic prints, handmade books, sound and video.

The artists live and work in Paris and in London. Some of the work will be available as book publications or as DVD’s throughout the show.
