The publication has been published by Hatje Cantz, the excellent fine art and photography publisher. It will include 45 colour plates, texts by myself, and Christiane Monarchi, editor of Photomonitor.

Lydia’s work has also been featured in the current August issue of Hotshoe Magazine, with an accompanying article by Miranda Gavin, focussing on the emotional and psychological articulation of identity in a family context.

“She started taking photographs for the project in 2010 and says that this allowed her to examine this aspect of her life ” without looking at it directly”. The title is apt – as well as relating to notions of time and stillness, it carries the suggestion of a precarious presence; the idea that someone or something is still living, still here.”

– Miranda Gavin, Hotshoe Magazine 2013
