Photofusion Member Dafna Talmor requests a call for book submissions and Crowdfunding Project
Dafna Talmor was one of the recipients of the Photofusion Select Bursary Award in 2012 for her project Constructed Landscapes. The project takes the nostalgic elements of Talmor’s originally keepsake photographs of different locations into a new reality using slicing and splicing techniques.
The series has recently been selected for two exhibitions:
The Archisle #2 Open Photography Exhibition Interior/Exterior, which took place between the 18th of November until the 7th of December at the Berni Gallery at the Jersey Arts Centre in St. Helier.

The second and current exhibition is the W-CA Contemporary Landscape Photography Open, selected by an established panel of judges, which opened on the 6th of December at the City Museum and Art Gallery in Worcester and is on until the 28th of December.
On Landscape #1 BOOK CALL
Call for self-published or short run book/publication entries to be included in
‘On Landscape #1’ at Yinka Shonibare’s Guest Projects in London, 7th-30th March 2014
Dafna and other RCA alumnae Minna Kantonen and Emma Wieslander are collaborating on Landscape #1 revolving around a shared engagement with pictorial conventions of landscape. This was recently selected for Yinka Shonibare’s Guest Projects 2014 programme.
The exhibition, taking place between the 7th – 30th of March will feature their photographic work, a display of publications sourced from an open call, a site-specific installation by invited artist Minna Pöllänen and a series of free events.

The publications, selected by a panel of industry experts, will provide a platform for wider debates whilst presenting an opportunity for a range of practitioners to showcase their work.
