Friday 29 June 19:00 – 20:30
Martin Barnes, Senior Curator of Photographs at the Victoria and Albert Museum and Brandei Estes, Head of the Department of Photographs at Sotheby’s will join Almudena Romero to discuss how museums, collectors and auction houses collect and sell prints made with organic materials. We will be discussing the restrictions and advantages of this type of work, and how artists working with organic materials manage to make archival prints.
Members are invited to attend our Saturday Sessions which are informal get-togethers on the first Saturday of each month. This is a fantastic opportunity to to share work with fellow photographers or just listen to what others have been up to. Each month we invite a different friend of Photofusion to facilitate the session, and we also provide coffee and croissants! Come along, it’s a match made in heaven.
