RCA Secret 2014 Exhibition

Test your ability to identify a David Bailey or Yinka Shonibare among thousands of other works at the Stewarts Law RCA Secret exhibition coming up on 13 March.

The original and quirky exhibition features postcard-size artworks by both internationally acclaimed artists as well as upcoming graduates from the Royal College of Art. It’s your chance to get your hands on original works of art for a tiny price.

Each postcard is signed only on the back keeping the artist’s identity a secret to the viewer until the work is purchased. Last year’s events included 2700 works by 1034 different artists including well-known names such as Yinka Shonibar, John Baldessari, David Bailey, Christo, Frank Bowling and Julian <Opie who all made special works specifically for the event.

The postcards will be displayed in a weeklong exhibition, then available to purchase for one day only, and the proceeds will go towards the RCA Fine Art Student Award Fund. Admission to view the exhibition is free, but you must be registered as a Collector with a Collector’s Number to purchase a card, which you can do on the Royal College of Art’s website or at the exhibition.

The exhibition will run from Thursday 13 March to Friday 21 March, 11am-6pm daily (late opening until 9pm on 20 March only).

The one-day sale opening is on Saturday 22 March from 8am-6pm.
