Ten Images for Ithaca Photography Creative Workshops
Ten Images for Ithaca invite you this summer to take a creative break by the sea. Join one of the workshops in either graphic design, illustration or photography in the Greek island of Ithaca and explore your creative side in a different light.
Italian illustrator and The New York Times’ collaborator Olimpia Zagnoli, the most awarded Greek design agency Beetroot, and British fashion and lifestyle photographer and editor Lydia Garnett, will challenge this year’s participants in order to explore new creative territories.
During the workshops, that are endorsed by the European Design Awards and the Greek Graphic Designers’ Association, you’ll have the chance to work with established and award winning visual communicators and learn from their experience. You’ll also be part of a community of young creatives from around the world who will gather in Ithaca, not only to learn and exchange ideas about design, photography and illustration, but also to make new friends and build network.
The photography workshop will be tutored by British photographer Lydia Garnett…
Lydia is a fashion and lifestyle photographer based in London. Since graduating from a degree in Photography at the University of Brighton, she has worked on commissions for international clients including Adidas Originals, ASOS, and Brutus. Recognised for her stripped-back, honest portraiture, she has also produced editorials for a range of leading publications, including i-D Magazine, Dazed Digital and Hypebeast. In 2013, Lydia set up Accent Magazine, an online quarterly that celebrates ‘lives lived outside the ordinary’. She works as co-editor, leading a team of contributors to produce a collection of extraordinary documentary portrait stories from around the world.

Ithaca is not only one of the smallest islands in the Ionian Sea, but also one of the most beautiful. Famous for historical and mythological reasons – home of Ulysses, Ithaca uniquely combines natural beauty and culture and therefore attracts travelers that seek something different and exceptional. Right across Kefalonia, Ithaca is surrounded by deep blue sea and is filled with green mountains, picturesque villages and tiny unbeaten beaches.
