The Syngenta Photography Award
Final Call for Submissions to the Syngenta Photography Awards 2014
This is an open call to photographers of all skill levels, there is only one month left for you to submit images to this years’ Syngenta Photography Award, on the theme of Scarcity/Waste.
We have already received an abundance of amazing images from both the Open Competition and Professional Commission but are always eager to receive more.
The final date for submissions is 15 September 2014
For the Professional Commission applicants are asked to submit a proposal for a commission project related to this year’s theme, together with a portfolio of 5-10 images. The winner will receive US $25,000 for the commission project plus a cash award of $15,000. The second and third placed photographers will receive cash awards of $10,000 and $5,000 respectively.
For the Open Competition (which is open to professional and amateur photographers ) applicants will submit 1-3 images. The prizes for the first, second and third place winners will be US $5,000, $3,000 and $2,000 respectively.

The shortlist of finalists will be announced at the end of November 2014. The winners will be announced at the Syngenta Photography Award ceremony in March 2015.
