Whitechapel Gallery: The London Open
Want the chance to show your work at the Whitechapel Gallery in Summer 2015 alongside some of the most dynamic and exciting artists in London?
Entries are now open until 12 December. Every single work submitted is reviewed by Whitechapel Gallery curators and those shortlisted are judged by an expert panel of artists, critics and collectors including Angela de la Cruz, Ben Luke and Jake Miller. The final selection of works culminates in a major exhibition at the Gallery opening on Wednesday 15 July 2015.
The Whitechapel Gallery’s open submission exhibition started in 1932 as the East End Academy and has previously featured work by celebrated artists in the early stages of their careers from Antony Gormley, Cornelia Parker and Rachel Whiteread to Pio Abad, Alice Channer and Ruth Proctor.
- Applicants must be 26 years and over
- Applicants must be living or working in the London Boroughs
- Up to 5 works can be submitted
- Works submitted must be made within the last 3 years (since 2012)
- Administration fee £25
