Our scanning room.

Our dedicated scanning room features an Imacon 949 Virtual Drum Scanner. This allows for black & white and colour scans from negatives with a maximum optical resolution of 8000ppi.

Also available in our dedicated scanning room is an Epson 10000XL A3 Plus flat-bed scanner, suitable for scanning artwork up to A3. It is also suitable for film, making it an excellent choice for producing digital contact sheets.

The scanners are driven by a dual quad core MacPro, with the Adobe Creative Suite CS5, connected to a fully colour managed, calibrated Eizo screen.

There is a filtered airline in the scanning room for removing dust from negatives.

We scan 35mm.

Medium format and 5x4

Our top-spec Imacon scanner will get the most out of your film. It can accommodate strips of 6 35mm film, individual 35mm frames, strips of 120 film, and individual frames of 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7, and 5x4. Please note that the Imacon does not take mounted 35mm slides.
