Our versatile, 322 sq ft gallery space is ideal for dry hires, conveniently located two minutes from Brixton Underground Station.

Exhibit your work in a fully climate-controlled gallery space that features white walls, concrete flooring and an sculptural concrete ceiling with industrial exposed vent ducting.

  • Weekly Booking Rates 

    Tuesday – Monday. (Please note that Photofusion is closed to the public on Sundays and Mondays) 

    £1500 + 20% VAT – £ 1800 total 

    Daily Booking Rates 

    Half Day Hire Day (3 hours between 11am-6pm): £150+VAT 

    Half Day Hire Evening (6pm-9pm): £200+VAT  

    Full Day Hire (11am-5pm): £300+VAT 

    Photofusion members receive a 10% discount on gallery and studio rental.

  • The gallery uses Sylvania Stadium Evo lights which emit no IR (infrared) or UV (ultraviolet) radiation and give excellent colour rendering (WWH & NWH Ra=min 90). Each individual light can be moved to provide the perfect illumination for your work.  

  • The gallery can facilitate up to 120 people standing and 45 seated. However, as visitors usually come and go during the course of an evening, you may invite more than this number of (standing) people to your event.  

  • Unloading or pick up space is available on Beehive Place immediately in front of the Photofusion entrance.

    We do not have dedicated parking but there is metered street parking available on Pope’s Road and Canterbury Crescent. 

Gallery Hire Guidelines 

Welcome to Photofusion! We aim to provide a seamless and productive experience. Please review these essential guidelines before booking our gallery, as well as refer to the hire guidelines here

Private View: If you hire the gallery for a week or more, then a private view (6-8pm) is included in the price.

Drinks and Refreshments: Photofusion cannot provide refreshments. You are welcome to source your own beverages and snacks for any events you host as part of your exhibition.  

Invigilation: The office at Photofusion is staffed during our opening times so visitors to your exhibition/event will be able to gain access. If you require anything above this then we recommend that you provide your own invigilators/support staff.  

Take Down Time: Please ensure that you have cleared your show from the gallery by 1pm on the final Tuesday of your hire.

Tidying Up: We generally expect the spaces to be returned to us in a clean and tidy fashion, with screws removed from walls. Any damage considered excessive will be deducted from your deposit. We will detail specific requirements after discussion with you in your hire agreement.

By booking our gallery, you agree to abide by these guidelines and our full Terms & Conditions, which are available on our website. 

Photofusion reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a session without refund if these guidelines are not followed.

  • When is the final payment due?
    Two calendar months before the hire start date.

    What if I book less than two months in advance?
    Full payment is required at the time of booking.

    How do I secure my booking?

    A 25% deposit is required, which is refundable if cancelled more than two calendar months before your scheduled hire. The final balance is also required 2 months in advance.

    Can I invite more than 60 guests?
    Yes, especially for private views, as guests come and go.

    Can I paint the walls of the gallery?Changing the colour of the walls is not permitted.  

    When do I need to take down my show?
    By 1pm on the final Monday of your hire.

    Is parking available on-site?
    We do not have dedicated parking, but there is metered street parking available on Pope’s Road and Canterbury Crescent. 

    Can Photofusion help promote my show?
    Yes, if you provide images, links, bios, and a poster in advance.

    When should I host a private view?

    We encourage you to arrange a midweek (Tuesday – Thursday) private view. 

    What promotional materials should I submit?

    Email us the following materials:

    • Lead image (spec provided upon request)

    • Short exhibition description (<250 words)

    • Artist bio (<150 words)

    • Poster

    • Social media/website links

    Does the gallery provide any event supplies?
    Yes, including wine glasses, tables, ice buckets, kitchen area, and fridge. Drinks and Snacks must be provided by you.


    What do your digital production services offer?

    Our digital printing service includes a wide range of papers from Arches, Canon, Canson, Epson, Hahnemühle, Phototex, and Innova.  

    The mounting service covers a broad range of materials including DiBond, Forex (PVC) and Kapamount (foam board), with or without a protective laminate.
