Chloe Rosser - Untitled (2021)
Rosser’s ongoing artistic practice explores our complicated relationship with the human form and the very personal experience of inhabiting a body. This particular piece is from a period when Rosser was photographing subjects over video calls. Using an analog camera, she took shots of the digital screen. Working at a distance like this impacted the images and Rosser had to find new ways of communicating and directing the photographs.
Born and raised in London, Chloe Rosser is a photographic artist of English and Polish decent. She has exhibited worldwide, with solo shows in both London and NYC. Her work has been featured widely in international publications.
In 2018 Rosser published her first monograph, ‘Form & Function’. In 2022 she partnered with Scottish Ballet, co-directing an award-winning short art-film with their dancers, inspired by Rosser's artistic practice.
