Clémentine Schneidermann is a french photographer. She moved to Wales in 2012 prior to her studies and developped there long-term projects based on immersion and collaboration. Her first serie "I Called her Lisa Marie" navigates between Wales and Memphis portraying Elvis Presley's lovers. It was published in 2018 and was exhibited and awarded several times. In 2015 she moved to the Valleys, a former mining region in South Wales and started a long term collaboration with Charlotte James with various youth clubs. She won the Leica Oskar Barnack Newcomer Award in 2016 and had recently a solo show at the Martin Parr Foundation in Bristol. She also regularly collaborates with fashion magazines and completed a PhD in photography in 2022.
