This image is part of my series London is a Jungle which looks at the relationship between man and beast within the M25. An urban sprawl not generally associated with nature, London houses a surprisingly wide variety of different animals. I wanted to capture the strong bonds between pets and their owners, examine the importance of interspecies companionship and celebrate our furry and feathered friends.

I am a photographer living in Camberwell, London with my family, a cat and 7 chickens.

I create people focused stories with a documentary slant. Shooting on film using natural light, I capture tender moments that are real and intimate. Bringing out warmth and truth, focusing on human connection. Curious by nature, I am fascinated by people’s worlds and the opportunity of a window into them.
