Tim Burton - Untitled, London, September 2024

£100.00

Professionally printed on 10x12 Arches 88 fine art matte paper, 100% cotton-rag.

Untitled, London, September 2024 was captured by Tim Burton as a playful homage to his favourite ‘brain’ movies. Inspired by cult classics, such as Donovan’s Brain and The Crawling Eye, the sculpture was designed to appear as though it’s attacking Earth, with Burton’s photograph inviting viewers to imagine the rest of the story themselves.

Tim Burton, director and artist, is widely regarded as one of cinema’s most imaginative and visual filmmakers. Many of his films – such as Ed Wood (1994), Sleepy Hollow (1999), Big Fish (2003), and Alice in Wonderland (2010) – have garnered numerous Academy Awards, BAFTA, and Golden Globe nominations and wins, cementing his status as one of the greatest film makers of our time.  Long before becoming a director, Burton expressed himself through drawing, painting, and photography, all of which have become an integral part of his creative process which he continues to pursue to this day.
