Bibby Boys — Collaboration as Practice
This free public talk brings together photographers Thomas Ralph and Theo McInnes, alongside one of the men formerly housed on the Bibby Stockholm barge who features in the work.
Centred on the exhibition Bibby Boys, the conversation will explore collaboration from initial pitch through to public exhibition. Developed as part of the Photography Foundation Grant — supporting socially engaged documentary practice — the project reflects on creative approach, technical collaboration, and working with sensitivity in a politically charged context. By sharing the platform with one of the men at the heart of the work, the event extends the exhibition’s collaborative ethos both behind and in front of the lens.
