Discover the ultimate community for photobook enthusiasts at Photofusion, Brixton. In partnership with London Independent Photography (LIP), the Photobook Group is a warm, inclusive space for members passionate about creating, designing and publishing photobooks or artist books.

Whether you are crafting your first publication or bring years of experience, this group offers a supportive environment to develop your craft.

What to expect from each session: Share your project vision and receive constructive feedback from peers. Explore book design, layout, sequencing and production techniques. Collaborate on an exciting collective project to create a printed visual anthology

Schedule and meeting times: The group meets on the last Saturday of the month from 10:30 to 13:00 at Photofusion in Brixton.

Membership requirement

This group is open exclusively to active members of London Independent Photography (LIP) or Photofusion. Please ensure your membership is up to date before signing up.

Capacity and booking

Our inaugural session on 30 May 2026 is an open meeting with no capacity cap. For all subsequent monthly sessions, places are strictly limited to the first 20 members who sign up. Advance registration is required to secure your slot and have your work reviewed by the group.

What to bring

If you would like to share your ongoing work, please bring a maximum of 10 images from an unpublished project.

Project format note

The group will be working towards a collective visual anthology project. Due to production and printing cost constraints, there is a strong preference for black and white work for the final book. Colour images are highly welcome for group discussion and feedback sessions, but please note they may not be eligible for inclusion in the final printed publication.
