Join us at Photofusion on Thursday 17 September for an insightful panel discussion with the four featured artists of SELECT/26: Maura Jamieson, Deepthi Muralibabu, Naomi Woddis and Maxwell Anderson. Hosted by educator, curator and photographer Andy Golding, this talk offers a deeper look into the creative processes and narratives behind the exhibition.
Selected from Photofusion’s annual Salon/25 members’ exhibition at the beginning of the year, the artists will discuss how their distinct projects explore complex themes of environmental legacies, familial memory, the tenderness of eldercare and community displacement. Together, the panel will reflect on personal storytelling through lens-based media and the role of contemporary photographic practice in navigating shared human experiences.

Andy Golding is a photography teacher most interested in developing the ideas behind the production of images. His aim is to develop purposeful projects at all levels. He is the current Chair of the Royal Photographic Society Education Committee, and teaches at The Open University, Haikou University of Economics and Zhejiang University of Media and Communications. He has 25 years of experience in leadership and teaching in media-oriented higher education and has recently curated photographic exhibitions in the UK and China.
