Submissions are now open for our annual members’ exhibition, SALON/25.

For anyone unfamiliar with SALON, it is an incredible chance for our members to have their work up in our gallery, discover and network with other emerging photographers and win £3000 with the Glover Rayner Prize.

Since 2008, it has become a cornerstone of our membership programme: a lively and inclusive celebration of photographic practice in all its forms.

    • SALON/25 is only open to members

    • All work must have been made in the last 18 months 

    • Submissions are free

    • You may fill out the submission form ONLY ONCE. If you are entering multiple images (max 3), upload all to a single form. Should your image be chosen for exhibition, only one will be exhibited.

    • Submissions must be saved as jpegs, no longer than 3000 pixels on their longest edge and captioned with first name, last name, image title and number if it is a series/multiples. (e.g alex_smith_silhouettes_1.jpg)

    • All selected submissions will receive a 25% discount on production and printing costs in house at Photofusion for the exhibition. If you are submitting work you have already produced, eg you have printed it yourself in the darkroom, please let us know the dimensions of your work in this form. 

    • If you are selected, we will provide more information at that time.

  • There is also an option to have your work considered for the Glover-Rayner Prize. A short text explaining your submission will be required for your work to be considered.

    The Glover-Rayner Prize was established during Photofusion’s 30th anniversary year by founder member Gina Glover and the long-time member of the board Dr Geof Rayner. The prize recognises photographic work that raises questions about our fragile environment and pressing issues of climate change, sustainability, biodiversity and more. We are interested in people who are looking at these issues in the broadest sense, including those who make work sustainably and those who have considered these wider issues within their creative practice. Candidates will be offered the option to submit to the Glover-Rayner prize as part of the general submission process to Salon/25. The winner will receive a cash prize of £3,000.

  • As part of the exhibition, we’ll be awarding four artists a place in Select/26, a group exhibition featuing Salon/25’s top photographers, chosen by invited guests from across the photography sector and the Photofusion Team.
