The Space Between Strikes

Mia Fernandes reimagines the visual language of combat sports, centring female kickboxer and Stuntwoman Fern and challenging traditional representations of fighters through a contemporary, femme-coloured lens, balancing power with female athleticism.

Mia is a member of Photofusion’s Creators Studio, designed to support photographers at the beginning of their careers, with access to high-quality kit and exhibition opportunities.
