Film Processing
The entire chemical sequence required to turn a latent, invisible image on exposed photographic film into a permanent, stable negative or positive image that can be handled in daylight.
After you have exposed your film, it must be processed by being immersed in a series of temperature controlled chemical baths, before being rinsed and dried. This process must be carried out in total darkness to ensure the film is not further exposed to light while it is still photosensitive.
