RPS Analogue Group 2025 Exhibition
This exhibition brings together 80 photographic works developed through a range of analogue processes and approaches. From silver gelatin and lith printing to alternative techniques and wet plate collodion, the prints reflect the enduring possibilities of darkroom practice in a digital age.
Created by members of the RPS Analogue Group, a growing collective of photographers working with film, chemistry and light, the works explore themes of materiality, time and experimentation. Each image is accompanied by a short process note, offering insight into the tools and decisions behind the print.
Now in its tenth year, the RPS Analogue Group has grown from a small membership of fewer than 100 to over 300 photographers worldwide. United by a commitment to analogue photography, its members span emerging artists as well as ARPS and FRPS-accredited practitioners.
This is the group’s first travelling exhibition and its first presentation at Photofusion. It marks the beginning of a new relationship grounded in a shared belief in the relevance of analogue practice, not only as craft, but as a space for reflection, resistance and play.
